Four people were injured in a two-car accident early Tuesday in Bellwood.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office reported that Celine Forney, 17, was driving a 2007 Ford FMS eastbound on Nebraska 64 when she turned left at Esplanade Street. The Ford struck the front of a westbound 2004 Toyota driven by Sarah E. Romshek, 28, of David City. The accident occurred at 7:35 a.m. According to the accident report, Forney’s vision was obstructed by sunlight.
Romshek, Celine Forney and two passengers in Forney’s car, Maria Forney, 17, and Evan Forney, 15, were injured. All four were transported to Columbus Community Hospital. Rescue squads from Bellwood and David City responded to the scene.
