The public side of the fitness center at Shelby-Rising City Schools will open on Friday, Sept. 1. The facility is open to members only and daily use or drop in rates are not available.

Members who had an active membership when it closed last year will be able to use their FOB card to access the Fitness Center free of charge for the remainder of 2017. They will need to stop in and sign the new waiver.

Members who did not have an active membership, cannot find their card, or are new members will need to go to the S-RC Main Office during regular school hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and complete the application process with payment to receive a new card. FOB Cards and applications will be available after Wednesday, Aug. 30. Members who have a card are asked to bring it with them to be activated.

Entrance to the fitness center is on the west of the school building in Shelby (650 N. Walnut St.) through the new activity entrance and then directly to the right. Both the outside entrance and fitness center require a FOB for access. The facility is available 24 hours a day by FOB only.

Members can read the Fitness Center Rules and Membership Information document on the school website at www.shelby.esu7.org and forward any questions to Terry Chadek at tchadek@shelby.esu7.org.
