Expect one-lane traffic through construction zones
The Nebraska Department of Transportation announced on Thursday that weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin Monday, March 12, on the Dwight East Bridges on N-66 (Reference Post 52.5 to Reference Post 55.5), according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Constructors, Inc. of Lincoln has the $2,807,735 contract.
Work includes grading, culverts and bridge construction. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, width restriction is 10 foot and will be controlled by temporary traffic signals. The project is anticipated to be complete by November.
The Department’s manager for this project is Joseph Kuehn of Lincoln. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously through construction zones, along detours and selected alternate routes.
