Annette (Johnson) Eilers, age 45, of Shelby, Nebraska, passed away January 22, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a 14 year battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29. at the Shelby United Methodist Church with Pastor Teri Lucas officiating. Inurnment will be in the Dwight Cemetery. Dubas Funeral Home of Osceola and Stromsburg has been entrusted with arrangements.
Annette was born on August 24, 1972 in David City. She attended grade schools at Garrison, Dist 10, and Lakeview High School.
Ann enjoyed spending time with her nephews and nieces. She especially enjoyed her two dogs, Barry and Finney. Her fondest memories were her trips to the ocean with her brother Tim.
Ann enjoyed the challenges and joys of flipping houses.
On September 27, 2003 she was united in marriage to Dallas Eilers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Burdette and Delores Berck, brother Tim Johnson, brother Darrell and wife Kelly, Kohlton, Reese and Josilyn; sister Michelle, husband Mark, and Matthew; step-families Tim and Barbara Berck and family, Ross and Shelli Berck and family, Dave and Amanda Berck and family.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Rhonda Johnson; uncles Al Hain and Gayle Brandt; cousins, Katie Hain and Brian Brandt; grandparents Albert and Georgia Hain, Doug and Delores Johnson and Virginia Berck.
