Aerts, Tigers compete at Lincoln Lutheran

Amanda Aerts brought home the gold from the Lincoln Lutheran Invitational Sept. 28 at Pioneers Park in Lincoln.

Aerts finished at 19:55.97, helping the East Butler Tigers finish fourth behind Concordia High of Omaha, Lincoln Christian and Wahoo.

No other Tigers medaled, but strong finishes by Hallie Zitek and Olivia Bohac helped the Tigers outpace Yutan.

In the boys team standings, Lincoln Christian dominated with three runners in the top 15. Cristian Hofpar had the top finish for East Butler at 39th.
