East Butler finished a busy week on Friday competing in the East Central Nebraska Conference meet, the Tigers' former conference home, a day after hosting and placing second in the Crossroads Conference meet.

The Tigers placed eighth with 80 points, edging Johnson County Central. Auburn won the meet with 136.5 points, just ahead of Tri-County’s 132.5.

Leading the Tigers were Ryley Spatz (43-3) in first place at 138 pounds, and Brandon Rezac (37-4) claiming gold at 195 pounds.

Spatc won a major decision against Dawson Hogue (39-8) in the finals.

Rezac won a 6-2 finals decision over Cooper Smith (44-4) of Tri-County.

Dalton Bohac (32-7) was second at 145, after a forfeit in the finals match.

Colten Ratkovec was fourth at 160, losing a 3-2 decision in the third place match to Dylan Jones (43-4) of Louisville.

East Butler travels to Elm Creek for the District D-3 meet Friday and Saturday.
