Doctor returns to Nebraska
Dr. Tyler Lewandowski and his wife Ashley recently moved back to Nebraska with their two children, Taven and Raya.
His journey began in Columbus where he graduated from Columbus High School in 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2008 followed by medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado (Class of 2013). He recently completed a four-year residency at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania, specializing in emergency medicine.
Lewandowski enjoys the challenge of resuscitating the most-complicated patients, and the variety that comes with working in emergency medicine. He is currently practicing at multiple CHI hospitals in the Omaha area.
His wife of eight years, Ashley, also has a love for health care. She was previously a nurse but found a new passion as an exercise fitness coach and full-time mother to their two children.
In the family’s leisure time they enjoy all types of outdoor activities and live music, and have a passion for Husker football.
Lewandowski is the son of Kevin and Rosann Lewandowski of Columbus, grandson of LaVern and Carolyn Lewandowski of Grand Island and Justin and Joann Kuszak of Ashton and son-in-law of Dave and Debra Compton of Kansas City, Kansas.
