Rodriguez receives caregiver award

COLUMBUS — Throughout the year, the Home Instead Senior Care administrative team hears stories about its remarkable caregivers who are enhancing the lives of seniors throughout the 14-county northeast Nebraska service area.

At the end of the year, one special caregiver is recognized for their outstanding performance and the special impact they have on the lives of the clients they serve. At the Home Instead CAREGiver celebration held in December, Dayna Rodriguez of Columbus was selected as the 2017 CAREGiver of the Year.

Andrea Trautman, franchise owner, stated, "In a few short words, Dayna is nothing short of extraordinary. She exemplifies a true spirit of excellence in all that she does to serve our clients and this very special organization.”

In addition to this award, Rodriguez’s story was submitted to be considered for the Mary Steibel CAREGiver of the Year Award, which is one of the most prestigious honors in the Home Instead Senior Care North American network.
