COLUMBUS — Beulah O’Hare, 91, of Columbus, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 562 17th Ave., in Columbus. Inurnment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Columbus. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Beulah O’Hare was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Wolbach to Ray and Eva (Cox) McLain. She was united in marriage to Gerald O’Hare on Aug. 13, 1947, in Central City. Beulah worked at Dale Electronics. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Theresa Sodality.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; parents Ray and Eva McLain; sisters Helen and Geneva; and brother Bernard.
She is survived by her children Jim (Cyndi) O'Hare, Jean (Leonard, deceased) Kobus, Rita (Mark) Simon and Jerry (Lori) O'Hare; grandchildren Kevin, Kelly, Ryan, Sean, Andy, Cristin and Brady; great-grandchildren Griffin, McLain, Callan and Coli; extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Anthony Catholic Church or to Hospice of Central Iowa-Kavanagh House on 56th Street in Des Moines, Iowa.
