HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. -- Beverly E. Pfeifle, 75, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018. Beverly was born Feb. 13, 1943 in Nebraska City to Burnett and Ethel (Schwab) Vauck. In 1947, Her family moved to Columbus as her father became Superintendent of Schools in David City. Beverly attended Williams, Fields and Jr. High in Columbus. Her family moved to Williamston, Michigan, in 1956. After graduating high school in Williamston, Beverly attended Michigan State University where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing Education.
On July, 8, 1967, Beverly was united in marriage with David L. Pfeifle. They had two children, Jeffery David in 1969 and Christine Nicole in 1974. Beverly worked as a registered nurse in Denver, Dayton, Ohio; and Ames, Iowa. She involved herself in various activities including parent organizations in her children’s schools and as a hospice volunteer in Ames and Denver. She was a lifelong United Methodist.
Beverly is survived by her husband David, daughter Christine of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and sister Carmen Crockett, of Grand Ledge, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her mother Ethel, father Burnett and son Jeffrey.
A memorial service and celebration of Beverly's life will be held at a later date at Wind Crest Retirement Community in Highlands Ranch. In Lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
