COLUMBUS -- Fae Anderson, 80, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at Columbus Community Hospital.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2200 25th St. in Columbus. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Fae was born Sept. 26, 1937, in West Point, to Kenneth and Mildred (Fenske) Schulzkump. She grew up in West Point where she graduated from West Point High School.

She married Kenneth Anderson on June 17, 1956, at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. Along with raising her family she taught grade school, worked at the dry cleaners and helped on the family farm. They moved to Columbus in 1977. Fae then worked at Dale-Vishay and Walmart until her retirement in 2012. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she served as a church organist. She taught Sunday school and served as choir director and organist in West Point. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting, playing cards, reading and baking.

Fae is survived by son Terry Anderson of Norfolk; daughter Renee (Ron) Schlautman West Point; son Elliot Anderson Columbus; daughter Ann (Scott) Hughes Columbus; daughter Jill (Bill) Jasper Columbus; grandchildren Reed (Stephanie) Schlautman, Rena (Dan) Sharp, Clay (Rebecca) Anderson, Cory (Michelle) Reed, Chance (Stephanie) Reed, Jesse (Courtney) Reed, Morgan Jasper, Hailey Jasper and Nathan (Kaitlyn) Hughes; 14 great-grandchildren and brother Wesley Schulzkump of West Point.

He was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, parents Kenneth and Mildred Schulzkump and great-grandson Ethan Schlautman.
