COLUMBUS — Kenny Zoucha, 57, of Columbus, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, at his home in Columbus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 562 17th Ave., in Columbus. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, with a 7 p.m. vigil, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, all at the church. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery in Columbus.
Kenneth Zoucha was born March 31, 1960, in Columbus to Ted and Sophia (Rinkol) Zoucha. He attended grade school at St. Anthony and graduated from Scotus Central Catholic in 1978. On Sept. 5, 1981, he was united in marriage to Joan Tworek at St. Bonaventure Church. Kenny worked for BD Construction starting in high school. In 2001, he joined Bierman Contracting. Kenny enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren. They had many good times at the family cabin. He loved his job. Kenny was very innovative and creative, and was dedicated to his company and co-workers. Kenny also had previously served on the Columbus Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Zoucha of Columbus; daughters, Heather (Nicholas) Hauder of Columbus and Heidi (Ben) Wilshusen of Columbus; four grandchildren, Nolan, Parker, Hailey and Reid; sisters, Jan (Adolph) Kudron of Columbus, Mary Magnuson of Willard, Ohio, Carol (Don) Meysenburg of Bellwood, Chris (Jim) Krause of Sioux City, Iowa, and Betty (Orwin) Olson of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Sophia Zoucha; sister, Genevieve Anderson; and brothers-in-law, Andy Anderson and Bob Magnuson.
