Mary Ann (Kielian) Bartusiak, of Morton Grove, Illinois, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, while staying with her son in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

Mary Ann Bartusiak was born Feb. 2, 1932 in Silver Creek to Joseph and Valeria (Prososki) Kielian. She grew up on a farm near Silver Creek with 13 brothers and sisters. She married a "city boy," Joseph Stanley Bartusiak on Jan. 27, 1951. The couple raised four children in Morton Grove, a suburb of Chicago. She also owned and worked a small business for 40 years with her husband. Mary Ann loved travelling the country with her husband in their motor home.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. A visitation is being held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 2, at McKown Funeral home in Columbus, with a 7 p.m. vigil following at the funeral home. Visitation will continue from noon through 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church leading up to the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Mary is survived by children Terence Terry Lee (Jeanina Elisse) Bartuskiak, Judy Ann Wysow, Michael Wayne (Mary) Bartuskiak and Joseph Daniel (Katherine) Bartusiak; sisters Irene (Lonnie) Kava, JoAnn (Ambrose) Placzek and Theresa (William) Tarnick; and brother John (Sharon) Kielian. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Valeria Kielian, husband Joseph Bartusiak, brothers Anthony (Josephine) Kielian, Stanley (Esther) Kielian, Louie (Millie) Kielian, Robert (Ursula) Kielian, Alfred (MaryAnn) Kielian, Joseph (Rosalie) Kielian, Dominic (Dollie) Kielian; sisters Rose (Adolf) Kresha and Sophie (Jess) Brewer.
