To the Editor:
I was traveling from Grand Island to Morse Bluff. I stopped at T-Bone Truck Stop to get gas. After filling, my car wouldn’t start or even turn over. I went inside to get a phone number to call someone. Several men in the station came out to see if they could help. One of them called a mechanic he knew who came with testers and determined the starter was not working. He went into town, picked up the part, and came out and installed it. He only accepted payment for part and nothing for time. I was so grateful for the help. I don’t even know their names, but can verify Columbus is a friendly town where people will help you.
