Writer believes in Ben Sasse
To the Editor:
I believe very strongly in the ability of Ben Sasse to change the culture in Washington to one of "it can be done." his energy level is unsurpassed as he has listened and visited with Nebraskans and brought his ideas to all of the 93 counties in our state.
He is not the normal politician as he has never run for an elective office. It is evident on what he can do if you look at Midland University. It was on the brink of bankruptcy when he became their president in 2009. After his assessment and courage to change the direction, it is now one of the fastest growing universities in enrollment in the country. I sincerely believe he can make a difference in Washington, too.
He has campaigned for a smaller US government and a strict adherence to the US Constitution. He is intelligent, has well informed ideas, is very well spoken, and prepared to take Nebraska's ideas to Washington.
Ben Sasse has Nebraska work ethics and he can be trusted to bring Nebraska values to Washington. Please do the research on the candidates and you will find that Ben Sasse is a person who believes in Nebraska and the people in our great state.
