LINDSAY - Chantel Monica Frisch and Jared Ryan Sempek exchanged marriage vows on August 20, 2016, at Holy Family Church in Lindsay, NE with Father James Novotny officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis & Cathy Frisch and the granddaughter of Monica Frisch and the late George Frisch all of Newman Grove. She is the granddaughter of Gerald Weber, Sr. and the late Rhoda Weber of Bridgewater, SD. The groom is the son of Larry & Jill Sempek of Columbus. Jared is the grandson of Joe Sempek & the late Inez Sempek and the late Marlene Schreiber & Neil Smith.
La Nae Drozd, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Caitlin Bents, cousin of the bride; Ashley Preister, friend of the bride; Paige Schreiber, friend of the bride; Sara Frauendorfer, friend of the bride; and Melissa Sempek, sister of the groom. Olive Thoene, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Jenessa Olson, Jenny Prenosil, and Callie Wanek were the personal attendents. Candle lighters were Susan Evans, cousin of the bride and Chelsey Wurdeman, friend of the bride.
Bryce Sempek, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Calvin Frisch, brother of the bride; Chase Kapels, friend of the groom; Jeff Sempek, cousin of the groom; Dillan Wurdeman, friend of the groom; and Brandon Konwinski, friend of the groom.
Ring bearer was Boone Sempek, nephew of the groom.
Ushers were Carl Frisch, brother of the bride; Luke Sempek, cousin of the groom; and Trent Weiland, Tanner Peregrine, & Wade Hanson all friends of the groom. Jill Nore and Bridget Krings provided music and vocals. Gwen Sheen recited the readings. John & Laurie Evans and Ron & Traci Sempek were the Host Couples.
Reception meal and dancing followed at the Ramada in Columbus. The newlyweds went to Hawaii for their honeymoon and will reside outside Columbus, NE. Chantel is employed with the East Central District Health Department as a Wellness Coordinator and Jared is self-employed as an auto body technician.
