DENVER, COLORADO – Sarah McPhillips and David Scott both of Denver, Colorado, were united in marriage on September 12, 2015, in Denver.
Parents of the couple are Richard and Barbara McPhillips of Columbus and George and Kathy Scott of Brookline, Massachusetts.
Honor attendants were Larissa Woosley of Lincoln and Darren Carlsen of Aurora, Colorado. Bridesmaids were Amy Denny of Kearney and Meredith Kweskin of Watertown, Massachusetts. Jr. attendant was Macy Woosley, flowergirl was Malia Woosley and ringbearer was Zachary Woosley, all of Lincoln.
Groomsmen were Carl Sack and Andrew McPhillips, both of Denver, Colorado.
After a wedding trip to Outer Banks, North Carolina, the couple has made their home in Denver, Colorado, but will be moving to Bogata, Colombia in June. The bride received a MA in International Relations, an Associate’s degree in Video Production and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Josef Korbel School of International Relations at the University of Denver. She is an Investigative Specialist at the Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Investigations. The groom received a Bachelor’s degree in History and French from Fordham University in New York City, a Master’s degree in International Relations from Northeastern University in Boston, a Bachelor’s of Nursing degree from Metropolitan State in Denver. He is a Registered Nurse for Denver Health Medical Center in their Comprehensive Addiction Rehabilitation and Evaluation Services Unit.
