• A bridge luncheon was held at noon Jan. 18 at Valentino’s in Columbus with Lorraine Engel as hostess. After the meal, bridge was played with Rita Moeller winning high, Jane Davis was second, and Florence Stevenson was low. Others present were Betty Rosche, Marilyn Klug, Dee Deeds and Elaine Hake, who will host the Bridge Club in February.

• Florence Stevenson of Richland and Judy Muhle of Columbus had dinner at noon Jan. 19 at Stack ‘n Steak restaurant in Columbus.

• Florence Stevenson attended Jan. 21 morning church services, the annual meeting, and the dinner in the Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church in Schuyler.

• Denise Stevenson was a Jan. 20 visitor and Emily Stevenson was a Jan. 21 afternoon visitor at the home of Florence Stevenson.

• Frank and Lois Greaser of Richland visited Diane Hollman and Andy Ditter of Columbus on Jan. 19 in the evening.

• Mary and Abby Walker of Bennington were Jan. 20 visitors of Marilyn Kasik of rural Richland.

• Tim and Susan Rickert attended the Union Bank company Christmas dinner party held at Husker House in Columbus on the evening of Jan. 20. Susan is employed at Union Bank.

• Russ and Linda Forney of Richland and Paul and Sharon Doerneman of Schuyler were Jan. 21 supper guests at the home of Michael and Sarah Doerneman of Columbus to honor their granddaughter Lola Doerneman for her 10th birthday. Lola’s special cake was an ice cream cake. Others present were her sister Zoe and brothers Briggs and McCoy.

• Jacque Mundil was honored with a bridal shower on the afternoon of Jan. 21 at the home of Judy Shoultz of Schuyler. Other hostesses were Lorene Oehlrich, Carol Wolta and Jenny Urbanek. A game was played and Jacque opened her gifts. Lunch was served to the guests. Among the guests were Ashley Oehlrich of Elkhorn and Elli Oehlrich of Richland. Jacque will become the bride of A.J. Cook on March 17 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Schuyler.
