COLUMBUS — Central Community College was ice-cold from the field in Monday’s 70-57 loss to Iowa Central Community College at Raider Fieldhouse.

The Raiders shot under 30 percent from the field (20 for 67), including 3 of 22 from behind the 3-point line.

Quenshae Love made 10 of 20 shots for a game-high 25 points to lead Central. Schuyler graduate Maddy Wolfe added 14 points and 13 rebounds, but made only four of 20 shots.

The Raiders fell behind 28-18 after the first quarter and trailed by 13 at halftime. Central was unable to mount a second-half rally as it had done in its first two games.

CCC (1-2) hosts York College’s junior varsity team on Thursday.
