FREMONT — Fremont swept the Columbus High boys tennis team Monday, winning all nine matches in a dual.

Joe Massman at No. 6 singles and Adam Kamrath and Alex Uhlig at No. 1 doubles played tough, but couldn’t break into the win column for the Discoverers. Massman lost to Mike Harmon 9-8 (3) while Kamrath and Uhlig fell to Brennan Callahan and Justin Pemberton 9-8 (4).

Kamrath lost his No. 1 singles match 8-0. Massman teamed with Grant Stadler at No. 3 doubles and also lost 8-0. Trevor Luckey and Colin Flyr lost 8-2 at No. 2 singles.

Stadler and Flyr both lost 8-0 at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively. Uhlig dropped an 8-5 match at No. 2 singles and Luckey lost 8-2 at No. 4 singles.

The Discoverers host Norfolk on Thursday at Pawnee Park.
