COLUMBUS -- Lincoln Pius X swept the Columbus High boys and girls swimming teams on Tuesday at the Columbus Aquatic Center.
Boys fell to the Thunderbolts 104-65 while the girls lost 108-60.
The Discoverers won five events in the dual.
Chase Andresen was responsible for a pair of those, winning the 50-yard freestyle in 22.62 seconds and the 100 breaststroke in 1 minute, 4.81 seconds.
Emily Miksch gave Columbus a sweep of the short races, winning the girls 50 freestyle in 26.47 seconds. That was the only victory for the girls team in the dual.
Hunter Hall won the 100 backstroke in 58.71 seconds. Jayven Krepel and Gabe Moseman went 1-2 in the 500 freestyle. Krepel won the event in 6:07.86 and Moseman was second in 6:15.45.
The Discoverers have the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference meet in Kearney on Friday and Saturday.
