Cooler conditions are getting the campers out and they are having some luck catching fish.
We had one big fish that came in and I’m not sure if it got weighed correctly. Floyd Mcauley told me they couldn’t get the entire fish on the scale. Nevertheless, this fish weighed at least 51 pounds.
Mcauley caught this monster on the Platte River using shad guts.
The Platte River is moving a lot of water right now.
Miguel Pedraza likes fishing the canal and caught a few catfish, including a flathead weighing 12 pounds, 8 ounces.
Lake North is doing well with some nice walleye, drum, catfish and crappie being caught.
