Are you headed out?
Are you going to the store or a friend’s house?
Are you wearing a mask?

OVID-19 is still a threat in our community
and new positive cases are being
reported every day.

That’s why Columbus Community Hospital is
urging local residents to protect themselves, their
neighbors and their loved ones by wearing masks.
Masks are an important public safety tool. They
are protective barriers that help contain the
respiratory droplets produced when a person
with COVID-19 coughs, sneezes or talks. These
droplets are what spread COVID-19 and when
masks trap them, they help slow the spread of
the virus.
In fact, the CDC says cloth face coverings are
one of the most powerful weapons we have to
slow and stop the spread of the virus.
Wear a Mask When You Are:
• Out in public
• Using mass transportation
• Attending events and gatherings
• While in quarantine or sick and
interacting with others at home
• Caring for someone who is sick
Though COVID-19 is a mild illness for most,
for some it can be life-threatening. When you
wear a mask, you help keep others safe and
potentially make a lifesaving difference.
