A Lincoln man was arrested early Wednesday morning after leading sheriff’s deputies on a high speed chase north of David City in a stolen car.

The Butler County Sheriff’s Office reported that Bradley Allen of Lincoln fled from deputies who tried to pull over the car Allen was driving at 12:07 a.m. The report stated that the car was being stopped for a traffic infraction.

According to the BCSO report,  the the chase included speeds of 100 mph, and Allen lost control of the vehicle and crashed at the junction of Nebraska 15 and Nebraska 64, six miles north of David City.

Allen fled the car on foot and deputies were able to track him down and arrest him. The car Allen was driving was stolen from Lincoln.

After being taken to Butler County Health Care Center for medical clearance, Allen was lodged in the Butler County Detention Center.
