Luke Saenz has been hired as the chief information officer.
He is a Kansas native growing up in Great Bend and pursuing his career in Wichita, Kansas. After graduating from Wichita State University with a degree in Management Information Systems, Luke worked as a network engineer for Pulse Systems. Pulse Systems was a locally owned medical software company based in Wichita.
In 2012, he started working in the financial industry with American State Bancshares Inc. as a systems administrator. After working for the group of banks for two years, he was promoted to director of information technology. Luke held this position until he decided to take this opportunity in Columbus with Great Plains State Bank.
Kristel Hall has joined the bank as vice president, compliance and human resources. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Lakeview High School. Hall earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State College.
Hall has 21 years of experience in the banking industry at a local financial institution. She currently serves as the Social Media chairperson for the Columbus Area Human Resource Association.
