Aquinas Catholic track and field dominated the competition at the Lakeview Invitational on April 23 and finished atop another team leaderboard.
Between the boys and girls teams, the Monarchs collected 60 total medals and won 22 events. The girls earned hardware in 31 events and won nine times while the boys put together 39 top-six finishes and 13 victories.
The Aquinas girls scored 187.50 points, 92.5 points ahead of runner-up Arlington. The boys were even more dominant, winning the team standings with 208 points to 81 for second-place Columbus Scotus.
Event winners included Larissa Sellers in the 100-meter dash, Natalie Semin in the triple jump, Emma Hilger in the 400, Vanessa Bohuslavsky in the 1600, Allie Frasher in the 3200, Aubrey Novacek in the long jump and Gabrielle Oborny in the pole vault.
Boys champions came from Kyle Napier in the 100 and high jump, Andy Lyons in the 200 and 400, Payton Davis in the 800 and 1600, John Prochaska in the 300 hurdles, Ben Shonka in the pole vault and Eli Reiter in the long jump and triple jump.
The girls 400 and 3200 relays and the boys 400, 1600 and 3200 relays were all champions as well.
