Senior Kamryn Pokorney led Shelby-Rising City in kills, blocks and digs as the Huskies defeated East Butler in a three-set sweep, Tuesday night in Brainard.
Pokorney pilled up 14 kills, one ace, four blocks and 16 digs in a 25-19, 25-10 and 25-12 win for S-RC.
The win is the fourth victory in six games for the Huskies.
"We did some great things," Shelby-Rising City head coach Makenzi Kuhnel said after the match. "Our goal this game was keeping our consistency, finding that rhythm all throughout the entire set. We started out slow in the first set playing kind of down to their level. We really had a discussion of being committed and picking up the pace."
After the first set, Shelby-Rising City found its rhythm and held the Tigers to 22 points combined in the final two sets.
