David City golf took to the course for the second time this season in a tournament at Douglas County West on April 3 where the Scouts were fourth among a field of 14 schools.
The Scouts shot a 353 total with three scores in the 80s and one in the 90s.
Jordan Kracl led the way shooting an 83 with a 40 on the front nine and 43 on the back nine. Will Danielson was second for DC with an 86 on a split of 45-41. Ethan Zegers shot 89 with 48 on the front and 41 on the back.
Complete David City scoring also included Keyan Helgoth with a 95 and Wiley Hein carding 111.
Bennington won the tournament with a team total of 316 while Oakland-Craig was a distant second on a total of 346. That edged out Gretna in third with 348.
Kracl's 18-hole score was good enough to tie for ninth overall. He accepted a 10th-place medal on tiebreaker criteria.
Ian Lundquist of Oakland-Craig took the individual title by one shot over Gavin Martin of Bennington.
