Dvorak honored by UNL
LINCOLN -- More than 1,900 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students were honored during individual college celebrations and the All-University Honors Convocation April 23 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.
Braden Joseph Dvorak of Dodge, a freshman in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, was recognized as a High Scholar for being in the top 10 percent of his class.
Loup awards scholarships
COLUMBUS -- Loup Public Power District awarded scholarships to 11 students who are attending Central Community College-Columbus this fall.
Loup Power scholarships are awarded to high school seniors from Boone, Colfax, Nance or Platte counties with selection based on academic achievement, employment, school activities, quality of the personal statement, application completeness and recommendations.

Scholarships were awarded to Adam Przybylski of Clarkson High School, Luiz Mayorga of Leigh High School and Lesly Velez and Luis Romero of Schuyler Central High School.
Central recognizes students
COLUMBUS -- Scholarships and special recognition awards were presented to students April 25 at the 11th annual Student Recognition and Awards Ceremony at Central Community College-Columbus.
