“Once again weather played a role in scoring for all golfers. The tee time temp was 46 degrees and it was overcast with strong winds. The rain then set in with a 10-minute downpour followed by three hours of steady mist," coach Shanda Hall said. "It was a pretty miserable day for golf. I am just super proud of the entire team for playing through it.”
“The tough conditions didn’t seem to bother Carly at all. She played relaxed golf and was smiling the entire day. Her mental toughness and positive attitude were pivotal today. Her chipping was beautiful and she made great decisions reading the greens and sinking her putts.”
