Alex is 12 and lives with his mom and siblings. He wants to be a Nebraska football player when he grows up. He would like to have a Big Pal since he has a small yard and wants to get out and do more. When asked to describe himself, Alex said he is helpful, kind, nice, honest, adventurous and likes working for money. He enjoys football, fishing, bicycling, swimming, art activities and rollerblading. If he had three wishes, Alex would like to be rich, go out more and live in a house.

Can you give one or two hours per week to a child who needs you? We have 16 children waiting for someone just like you to be their Big Pal. Please call today — you can make a difference to the children in our community.

Big Pals-Little Pals is a mentoring program that matches adult volunteers with children ages 6-19 from single-parent homes in order to provide them an adult friend and role model. Big Pals-Little Pals is a Columbus Area United Way Agency.
