Lakeview High School will crown its homecoming royalty tonight following the home football game against Boone Central. 

The following students are candidates for homecoming king and queen, with biographies provided by Lakeview High School:

Ashley Behlen

Ashley Behlen is the daughter of Matt and Jodi Behlen. She is active in volleyball, basketball, soccer, FFA and FBLA. She has been an athletic trainer for the past two years. Ashley is actively involved in St. Johns Lutheran Church and serves as president of the youth group. She plans to attend Wayne State College and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and will pursue a Masters degree in Counseling.

Allison Jaixen

Allison Jaixen is the daughter of Dale and Janet Jaixen. She has been active in volleyball, basketball, cross country, the dance team, FFA, FBLA, track and is the Student Council President. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she is an alter server, EMHC and a member of the Youth Group. Jaixen plans to attend Wayne State College and study Respiratory Therapy.

Mallery Schultz

Mallery Schultz is the daughter of Brad and Melissa Christensen and the late Troy Schultz. She has participated in basketball, volleyball and track, and is currently involved in FFA, softball, FBLA and 4-H for 11 years. She is also captain of the softball team. Her future plans include attending the University of Nebraska Lincoln to obtain a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and become a family counselor and open her own counseling center.

Emily Stevenson

Emily Stevenson is the daughter of Ken and Denise Stevenson. She has been active in softball, FBLA, yearbook, National Honor Society, mock trial, One Act, speech, and track. She plans to attend the University of Nebraska Kearney to pursue a degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Psychology before enrolling in the Nebraska State Patrol Academy in Grand Island.

Rebecca Valdez

Rebecca Valdez is the daughter of Pamela Miller and Anthony Valdez. She has been involved in volleyball, soccer, FBLA and Revolution. She is currently captain of the volleyball team. Her future plans are to attend Wayne State College and major in biology and minor in coaching. She then plans to go to medical school and become a pediatrician.

Landon Bignell

Landon Bignell is the son of Keith and Robin Bignell. He participates in power lifting and golf, and is a member of the National Honor Society. His future plans are to attend Northeast Community College and major in Building Construction Management.

Lucien Engel

Lucien Engel is the son of Tracy and Kim Engel. He is active in cross country, wrestling, golf, Viking Voices, Multicultural Club, National Honor Society, FBLA, and One Act. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska Lincoln in the fall, studying criminal sciences or a science related field, and earn a Bachelors Degree.

Ethan Goldfish Vinson

Ethan Goldfish Vinson is the son of Quinn and the late Becky Vinson. He participates in One Act, mock trial, speech, Viking Voices, FBLA, student council, Multicultural Club, National Honor Society, American Legion Boys’ State, and American Legion Boys’ Nation. He is also senior class president. His future plans are to attend Harvard or Purdue University to pursue a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in political science and later obtain a law degree. He is interested in working as a criminal defense attorney or as a representative for the state or federal government.

Thunder Pilakowski

Thunder Pilakowski is the son of Rick and Lauralyn Pilakowski. He has participated in football, basketball, Fellowship Of Christian Athletes, Youth For Christ, and is a member of the National Honor Society. He is captain of the football team, Academic All-state basketball, and All-conference honorable mention for basketball and football. He is undecided about his future plans.

Evan Tessendorf

Evan Tessendorf is the son of Ryan and Jaci Tessendorf. He is involved in football, basketball, Legion Baseball, Lakeview FFA, Northern Lites 4H Club, and is a member of Peace Lutheran Church. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska Lincoln and major in Agribusiness with the goal of attending Law School.
