COLUMBUS – Living with diabetes can be a struggle. Coping with the pressures of daily life and living with a disease can be an even greater challenge.

On Thursday, Columbus Community Hospital will be hosting the Spring Diabetes Event which will teach attendees how to better manage their diabetes and improve their overall health.

Kevin Reichmuth, MD, FCCP with Nebraska Pulmonary Specialties, will teach attendees about “Diabetes and Sleep.” Additionally, National Fuerhoff, respiratory therapist with Columbus Community Hospital’s Sleep Lab, will provide the latest information on “Sleep Apnea and Sleep Studies.”

The Spring Diabetes Event will begin with a light meal at 6:30 p.m. in Columbus Community Hospital’s third floor conference center. The event is free to the public, but preregistration is required by Monday, April 2. To register, call 402-562-4462.
