COLUMBUS — Columbus Police are investigating a series of vehicle vandalism incidents reported over an eight-hour period Tuesday in several areas of the community.

Five reports of vehicle windows being shot out began at 8:30 a.m. and ended shortly before 3:15 p.m., with the incidents ranging from the 2500 block of 35th Avenue in the central area of the city to the 3600 block of 16th Street in southwest Columbus.

A listing of Tuesday’s vandalism reports to police follows:

8:30 a.m. – Criminal mischief in the 2500 block of 35th Avenue, vehicle window damaged, $350 loss.

11:17 a.m. – Criminal mischief at the Platte County Sheriff’s Office, 2610 14th St., vehicle window damaged, $250 loss.

11:55 a.m. – Criminal mischief at Outreach Center, 3602 16th St., vehicle window damaged, $500 loss.

2:51 p.m. – Criminal mischief at 2311 16th St., vehicle window damaged, no loss amount.

3:14 p.m. – Criminal mischief at an unknown location in Columbus, vehicle window damaged.
