Heather Elton, Elizabeth Bardsley, Hali Mastny, Shanon Fittje and Stephanie Vodicka were honored at Columbus Community Hospital's Professional Development Program awards luncheon recently.

The Professional Development Program recognizes nursing staff members who have chosen to go above and beyond their regular duties to influence their profession and Columbus Community Hospital.

Elton, Bardsley, Mastny, Fittje and Vodicka were recognized for their commitment to continuing education, the nursing profession and Columbus Community Hospital. They received a certificate of their achievement, along with a financial award.

The goal of the Professional Development Program is to encourage and support nurses as they engage in educational opportunities that provide them with a greater sense of community and allow them to enhance the quality of their nursing care, their clinical expertise and leadership skills.
