COLUMBUS — Cole Tessendorf and Ryanne Lueders are Viking royalty.
They were crowned Lakeview High School homecoming king and queen during a ceremony Friday night following the football team's 19-7 victory over Fort Calhoun at Lakeview Stadium.
Tessendorf is the son of Travis and Abbie Tessendorf and Lueders is the daughter of Josh and Melanie Lueders.
The other Lakeview homecoming candidates were Lane Egger, Dakota Prorok, Jordan Loseke, Conner Wurdeman, Addie Wilke, Jordee Korte, Erika Loseke and Bailey Sloup.
Nathan Ostdiek and Emma Strecker took the homecoming king and queen honors during Scotus Central Catholic's ceremony Friday night following a 39-26 victory over Pierce at Pawnee Park's Memorial Stadium.
Ostdiek is the son of Duane and Kim Ostdiek and Strecker is the daughter of Bret and Linda Strecker.
The other Scotus homecoming candidates were Haley Faust, Alyssa Kuta, Abbie Perault, Kaylee Tonniges, Alayna Wilson, Evan Chohon, Wyatt Gutzmer, Duncan Paczosa, Zach Svehla and Tate VunCannon.
