COLUMBUS -- Lakeview Community Schools will crown its homecoming king and queen tonight at the home football game against David City.
The following are profiles of the candidates.
Rayna Butterfield is the daughter of Kari Paprocki. She is involved in FBLA, FFA, student council, National Honor Society and is the wrestling student manager. She plans to go to college for a business degree.
Mark Jarecki is the son of Kevin and Ileana Jarecki. He is involved in football, track, National Honor Society, FBLA, student council and FCA. He plans to attend a four-year college for pre-physical therapy and compete in athletics.
Taryn Luedtke is the daughter of Dean and Tracy Luedtke. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, National Honor Society, student council and FBLA. She plans to attend a community college, then transfer to a four-year school.
Samuel Morse is the son of Myron and Laura Morse. He is senior class president and FFA Sentinel and is involved in FBLA, FCA, golf, plays the guitar and sings in church. He started and currently operates a Custom Hay Business- Morse Hay Farms. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earn a degree in agronomy with an emphasis on crop production.
Hannah Maurer is the daughter of Todd and Shari Maurer. She has been the class secretary and does public relations for student council and is involved in FBLA, National Honor Society, one act, dance team, band, Viking Voices, St. John’s Lutheran Church Youth Group and Lynnette’s Dance Studio. Her future plans are to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing with a focus on pediatrics.
Isaac Purcell is the son of Dave and Michelle Purcell. He is involved in football, cross country, basketball, soccer, Legion baseball, FCA, student council, FBLA and National Honor Society. He plans to attend a four-year college and major in the medical field.
Lexi Mullinix is the daughter of Heidi and Jeff Mullinix. She is involved in FBLA, Godparents, JC Camp, golf, basketball and soccer. She plans to attend Wayne State College and major in elementary education and special education.
Ethan Scheffler is the son of Clint and Kelli Scheffler. He is involved in football, basketball, soccer, summer baseball, is National Honor Society president, FBLA and student council. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Taylor Neuhalfen is the daughter of John and Jolene Neuhalfen. She is student council president and is involved in FBLA, National Honor Society, FFA, softball and was a wrestling student manager. She plans are to attend Eckerd College to pursue a degree in marine biology.
Austin Urkoski is the son of Mark and Dee Urkoski. He is involved in football, soccer, baseball, National Honor Society, FBLA, speech, student council and FCA. He plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Omaha and pursue a degree in physical therapy.
