KEARNEY — Bradyn J. Hinkle, an inspiration to special needs children and parents across the state, died peacefully on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at his home in Kearney. He was 20.
Bradyn was born on Easter Day on March 30, 1997, to Rob and Jera (Lund) Hinkle.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at First Lutheran Church in Kearney with the Revs. Rick and Michelle Carlson officiating. Interment will be at Kearney Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home, and one hour before the funeral service.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; brother, Brian (Ashton) Hinkle of Omaha; sister, Betsi Hinkle of Grand Island and her friend Trevor Morris of Lincoln; aunts and uncles, Jina (Albin) Bosak of Fort Worth, Texas, Jill (Brent) Krumbach of Omaha, Dennis (Betty) Hinkle of Silver Creek, Darlene Booker of Silver Creek and Janelle (David) Udey of Osceola; grandparents, John and Sandra Lund of Monroe and Mabel Hinkle of Silver Creek; several cousins; and his brother and sister-in-law’s therapy dog and best friend Rex. He was blessed with special caregivers Debbie Ridder, Nancy Goodban, Charlene Weber and Bobbi Runge, who became family.
Bradyn was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gilbert Hinkle.
