James Paul Willer, 39, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Madison.
Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
James Paul Willer was born Aug. 2, 1978, in Charleston, South Carolina, to James and Peggy Willer. The family moved to Madison in 1984 where James graduated from Madison High School in 1996. He worked for Wagner Tool in Norfolk and Becton-Dickinson in Columbus before going to worked at Vishay-Dale Electronics in 2000. On June 6, 2006, James was united in marriage to Angelica Miller in Overland Park, Kansas. The couple moved to Kansas City in 2004 and then returned to Columbus in 2008. James worked for Torin Products, Valmont, Becton-Dickinson, Paige Electric and most recently at Menards. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, canning, barbecuing, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan since childhood. He especially loved spending time with his children.
He is survived by wife Angelica Willer of Columbus, son Derek Willer of Columbus, daughter Megan Willer of Columbus, sister Niko (Greig) Gronenthal of Madison, sister Tamara (Mike) Kallhoff of Santa Rosa, California, aunts, uncles, nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by parents James and Peggy Willer.
