Roberta Delp, 83, of Columbus, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at Mory's Haven in Columbus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at St. Isidore Catholic Church. There will be a 3:30 p.m. CDA rosary, and a 6 p.m. vigil service on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, and will continue from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at St. Isidore Church. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Roberta Delp was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Omaha, to Robert and Bessie (Conn) Connor She grew up in Omaha, where she received her education and graduated from Omaha South High School. She was married to Duane Delp on Nov. 19, 1951, in Omaha. They lived in many locations throughout Duane's military career. In 1978, they moved to Columbus. Roberta worked at NPPD until her retirement. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and helped teach RCIA.
Roberta is survived by son, Richard (Deanna) Delp of Cedar Falls, Iowa; daughter, Teresa (Quin) Delp of Omaha; son, Bill Delp of Omaha; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, William (Judy) Connor of Branson, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; sister, Jackie Nibbelink.
