Ryder is an 11-year-old boy who is looking for a positive male role model. He lives at home with his mom and older sister, and would like to spend his free time fixing bikes and playing video games. Ryder isn't a big fan of school, but he gets pretty good grades and really enjoys going to woodshop class. If he could have three wishes, Ryder would ask for a swimming pool full of quarters, lots of money and a million more wishes.
If you are a man who enjoys riding and fixing bikes, and would like to have a positive influence on the life of a kid like Ryder, being a Big Pal will give you the chance to spend time doing your favorite activities while also making a difference. Volunteering as a mentor only takes a few hours of your time each week but will change a Little Pal's life forever. To learn more about becoming a Big Pal, check out bigpals.org or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Big Pals-Little Pals matches children with adult mentors in a fun community-based program to spark positive growth and confidence. We are a United Way partner agency and will be participating in the Columbus Big Give on May 10.
