COLUMBUS — It didn’t take much for students to get comfortable to read.

That’s what happens when you get to attend school in your pajamas and have a parent by your side to snuggle with while cracking open a book.

There were also cookies and hot chocolate to set the atmosphere Wednesday during a "Cozy up with a Good Book" event at St. Anthony Elementary School.

Parents, grandparents and other family members were invited to stop by the school throughout the day to spend time with students while reading or trying other activities such as coloring and writing letters to Santa Claus.

The event was held during the school’s annual Scholastic Book Fair, which continues through Sunday in the cafeteria. The sale of reading materials, activity books, games and toys from the mobile fair earns free books for classrooms at St. Anthony.
