Sia has apologized for casting a neurotypical actor as a nonverbal autistic girl in her new movie ‘Music’. The pop singer has also apologized for scenes in the movie that depict the use of restraints on autistic people. The movie has been nominated for a Golden Globe for best picture in the musical or comedy category. Sia, who wrote and directed 'Music', has said that a restraint warning will be added at the start of the movie. According to Variety, the restraint scenes will be removed from public screenings of the movie.
