To the editor:
I want to start by saying I was very proud to be part of a Columbus community who attended Mr. Fortenberry's "town hall meeting." All were very respectful and left Mr. Fortenberry answer the questions without interruption.
Jeff Fortenberry, in my opinion, did a very professional job. He gave a brief overview and took many questions. He did not avoid any of the questions and gave good, honest answers. Not always what we wanted to hear, but he outlined the "why" and the challenges and obstacles.
If all of Washington was more like Mr. Fortenberry we might actually get something accomplished. I for one am grateful he took time to come to Columbus for a town hall meeting.
