To the Editor:
Sirs, I believe that spending taxpayer dollars on beautification of 23rd Street before streets like Third Avenue south of Eight Street and others like 33rd Avenue traffic issues with move of high school, must be addressed before any money is spent on beautification. Third Avenue south of Eighth Street is simply a wreck! Thirty-third Avenue north of 23rd Street is very dangerous and was caused by the high school being put where it is without proper planning for the traffic each morning and each afternoon just before and just after school during the school year.
Please do the right thing by addressing these needs long before you beautify anything. People's’ property and people's lives are on the line long before advertising in 23rd Street.
