SCHUYLER — Dana Marie Lindsay, 38, of Schuyler, died on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha following a courageous battle with complications of diabetes.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Schuyler. Elder Tim Blake of the Schuyler Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses will conduct the service. Another service and burial will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
Dana was born on April 10, 1979, in Meriden, Connecticut, to Dale Lheureux and Linda Lindsay. She was the oldest of eight children.
Dana lived in Schuyler the past four years. Prior to that, she lived in Connecticut and Florida. Dana was kind and caring and was a very devoted mother. She was an avid reader and great cook.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her mother, Linda Lindsay, friend, Dean Kolbo, young son, Darrin O'Brian, special friend, Jordon Fickle, and many friends, all of Schuyler. She also has three sisters, four brothers and other relatives in Connecticut.
Dana was preceded in death by her fraternal grandparents.
