Greg Zuerlein showed his leg off to a worldwide audience Sunday at Super Bowl 53.
The Lincoln Pius X graduate booted a 53-yard field goal in the third quarter to get the Los Angeles Rams on the board in Atlanta. However, it was the only points the Rams could muster in a 13-3 loss to the New England Patriots.
Zuerlein's field goal was the second-longest kick in Super Bowl history, only trailing a 54-yarder by Steve Christie in Super Bowl XXVIII in the Buffalo Bills' lost to the Dallas Cowboys.

Zuerlein missed a 48-yard attempt late in the game when the Rams were in desperation mode.
Meanwhile, former Husker Rex Burkhead is a Super Bowl champion for the first time. Burkhead had seven carries for 43 yards, including a 26-yard run to help put the game away late. He also caught two passes for 15 yards.
