HUMPHREY -- Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family aided Twin River’s late-season slide Thursday as the Bulldogs beat the Titans 51-49 in overtime.
H/LHF (18-4) outscored Twin River 9-7 in the extra period to hand the Titans (13-9) their fourth consecutive loss.
Allanah Beller scored 16 points to lead the Bulldogs. Brittney Veik and Allie Schneider added nine points each.
Cali Shanle led Twin River with 16 points while Gabi Weick and Halle Konz had eight points apiece.
Twin River got out to an 8-3 lead after the first quarter and a 25-18 lead at half, but the Bulldogs rallied in the final two quarters. It was 31-28, Twin River, at the end of the third quarter and H/LHF was able to tie the game at 42-all to force overtime.
The Titans play the winner of Shelby-Rising City and Nebraska Christian on Tuesday in the C2-7 subdistrict tournament in David City. The Bulldogs play the winner of High Plains and Palmer on Tuesday in the D1-7 subdistrict tournament in St. Paul.

East Butler 29
SHELBY -- Shelby-Rising City allowed just 10 points in the second half Thursday to beat East Butler 34-29 in a low-scoring game.
Sydnie Adams paced the Huskies (7-13) with 11 points and seven rebounds.
S-RC led 10-8 after the first quarter, but the Tigers (8-13) came back to take a 19-18 lead at halftime. East Butler maintained its one-point edge in the third quarter, taking a 24-23 lead into the final period. The Huskies outscored the Tigers 11-5 in the final eight minutes to get the win.
S-RC plays Nebraska Christian on Monday in the C2-7 subdistrict tournament at David City Aquinas High School.
