Saturday - No. 1 Humphrey St. Francis 63, Lutheran High Northeast 33: The No. 1 team in D-2 improved to 16-3 after a victory on Saturday night.
Tara Foltz led the Flyers with 19 points while Allison Weidner scored 14. Kaylee Stricklin and Alissa Kosch both dished out a team-high seven assists. Weidner grabbed eight rebounds and recorded eight steals.
HSF outscored Lutheran High NE in every quarter.
Saturday - Boone Central/Newman Grove 62, Wayne 31: The Cardinals improved to 8-9 on the season with a conference tournament win. The Blue Devils were held to shooting just 9 of 35.
Friday - No. 3 Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 74, Tekamah-Herman 44: The No. 3 team in D-1 soundly defeated Tekamah-Herman in a conference tournament game in large part due to three double-digit scorers for the Bulldogs. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family jumped out to a 25-7 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
Allie Schneider led HLHF with 20 while Taya Beller and Addison Schneider both scored 12. Beller and Schneider both grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
Friday - Boone Central/Newman Grove 45, Battle Creek 34: Boone Central/Newman Grove trailed by two after the first quarter before a 16-2 second quarter won the game for the Cardinals.
The Braves only connected on 12 of their 54 field goal attempts.
Friday - Twin River 57, Pender 54: Twin River was up eight going into the fourth quarter then held on as Pender made an 18-13 run, but the Titans held on for the win.
Friday - East Butler 45, Cross County 41: Despite double-doubles from Erica Startman and Cortlyn Schafer the Cougars fell just short.
Schaefer scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Stratman recorded 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Saturday - No. 5 Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 77, Tekamah-Herman 39: D-1 powerhouse HLHF overpowered Tekamah-Herman from the onset outscoring the Tigers 22-8 in the opening quarter.
Jason Sjuts led the Bulldogs with 16 points, followed by Bret Hanis with 14 and Tyler Sjuts who recorded 13.
Saturday - No. 5 Humphrey St. Francis 58, Lutheran High Northeast 52: D-2 Humphrey St. Francis flew away with the victory outscoring their opponent in every quarter of the game by at least five points.
Saturday - Oakland-Craig 68, Twin River 56: Twin River was tied after the first quarter but was outscored 23-13 in the second spelling trouble for the Titans. Joseph Zwiener led Twin River with 14 points and Ross Hebda tallied 10.
Friday - No. 7 Exeter-Milligan 64, Cross County 60 (3OT): Cross County battled as long as they could with the No. 7 team in D-2, but fell just short after three overtime periods.
Isaac Noyd scored 16, while Cory Hollinger added 13.
The best quarter for the Cougars was the third where they outscored the Timberwolves 20-7.

Friday - Battle Creek 73, Boone Central/Newman Grove 72: BCNG was up 55-45 entering the fourth quarter but the Braves outscored the Cardinals 28-17 in the closing eight minutes.

Saturday -Boone Central Invite: Boone Central/Newman Grove and High Plains Community both competed in the Boone Central Invite on Saturday where the Cardinals placed eighth out or 15 teams and High Plains finished in 11th.
No. 1 (Class C) Jon Merten of Boone Central took home gold at 220 after defeating Aquinas' Tad Naiberk 24-10 in the championship match.
Dalton Rasmussen won silver at 285 and Tyson Haddix placed fourth at 132 while Gavin Dozler at 106 and Will Grape at 120 both placed fifth. No. 6 Ethan Dozler finished in sixth.
No. 1 (Class D) Logan Russell of High Plains improved to 32-0 after winning gold by defeating No. 6 (Class B) Ty Rainforth of O'Neil 8-2.
Clay Church won silver at 126, No. 3 Dylan Soule picked up a bronze at 160, Javier Marino placed forth at 113 and Jason Whitt finished sixth at 152.
Bryce Reed at 138, Kyle Sterup at 145 and No. 2 (Class C) Cameron Graham at 132 all won gold medals.
Reed defeated Luke Wright of Grand Island JV 11-3 in the championship match, Sterup defeated Tri County's Bailey Waltke 5-4 in the finals and No. 2 Graham defeated Andres Aguilar of Gibbon.
Wyatt Graham won silver at 152, Tanner Kropatsch at 170 and Conner Shoup at 182 finished in fourth, heavyweight Owen Powell placed seventh and Channer Marsden at 145 finished in eighth.
Saturday - East Husker Conference: Twin River placed fifth at the East Husker Conference Tournament out of 14 teams.
Juan Davalos at 113, Jaxson Jones at 132 and Tucker Alexander at 195 all finished in second. At 152, Dylan Loewe won bronze and Mason Tenski stood at fourth.
Friday - Central Valley Invite: High Plains also competed in the Central Valley Invite on Friday, placing sixth out of 20 teams.
No. 1 Russell at 106 and No. 3 Soule at 160 both won gold medals.
Russel defeated Wood River's Dylan Ancheta in the championship match, and Soule pinned Weeping Water's Jason Burch for gold.
Church won bronze at 126 and Jarrett Parsons placed fourth at 145.
