Scotus Central Catholic and Columbus High golf teams were in action on Monday and Tuesday with Columbus High defeating Norfolk in a dual at Norfolk on Monday and Scotus winning the Fullerton Invite on Tuesday.
In the dual with the Panthers, the Discoverers won 213-221.
Jacey Hughes led all golfers with a 50, Ashley Warner tallied a 51, Sarah Lasso and Kaidence Spiegel both carded a 56 and Brookelyn Rotherham finished with a 62.
Scouts shot a combined 385 to win the Fullerton Invite, defeating Heartland by 37 strokes.
MaKenzie Enderlin led the Shamrocks with a fourth place finish shooting a 92.
Avery Dierman placed sixth with a 97 and Alaina Dierman and Jaycee Ternus both carded 98s to tie for seventh place, Jaelyn Podolak placed 15th with a 110.
"A much better performance on the golf course today," Scouts head coach Tanya Niebalski said in comments. "It was good to see them get into a rhythm. We did leave a lot of putts short due to fast greens and tough pin placements. Hopefully we can continue playing well."
Abby Brodersen of Boone Central won the invite with a score of 75.
Columbus is in action next at the Lincoln East Invite on Thursday and Scotus will golf at the Wayne Invite on Thursday.
